Cressi-Sub Scuba Diving Flippers

Cressi-sub was founded in 1946 by Egidio and Nanni Cressi, two brothers with a passion for the sea, making Cressi the oldest underwater diving company in the industry. Their enthusiasm contributed to the evolution and transformation of the world of diving into that fantastic sport that we know and practice today. The different models of Cressi-Sub scuba diving flippers available include:

Reaction Pro

Cressi-sub Reaction Pro FinThe Cressi Reaction Pro is a closed-foot version of the Reaction diving fins meeting full approval from divers. According to the Cressi patented system guaranteeing a surprisingly smooth and powerful kick, the frame is molded in three different materials. The Cressi Reaction Pro fin has a rather long blade with a differentiated thickness, which is thicker at the front end of the foot and getting progressively thinner towards the end of the blade. The soles are completely covered in thermo-rubber to give them an excellent grip on boat decks. Through the extensive use of elastic polymers the wide-soled foot is very comfortable. These fins have been designed not just for swimming and free-diving, but also for scuba diving, where they will surprise you with their fantastic performance.

Gara Professional

Gara 3000 LD

Cressi-sub Gara 3000LD FinDerived from the 2000 model, the Cressi Gara 3000 LD is identical to the Gara 3000, except that the material of the blade is softer. These fins are mainly used for long distance as the LD in the name signifies. Less muscle effort is required for kicking so divers can use them for longer, making them perfect to use for many hours. The fin is made by combining three different materials which guarantees unmatched performance. With the software blade it makes these diving fins very suitable for use in cold water as the blades material will not stiffen and make them less flexible as with other fins.

Gara 2000 HF

Cressi-sub Gara 2000HF FinThe Cressi Gara 2000 HF is the first fin in the world made by combining three different materials. This is a process that Cressi has perfected and patented with this fin to provide unmatched performance. The blade is made from a special, incredibly reactive rubber, which is extremely light, and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted. A soft elastic polymer wraps around the foot, blocking it with a comfortable bite, which guarantees perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust. A suitably solid copolymer hardens some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade. The function of these stringers, assisted by special raised bands on the bottom of the blade, is to regulate and harmonize the bending, at the same time protecting it from shocks and abrasions. The Gara 2000 HF fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors also use them.

Pro Star

Cressi-sub Pro Star FinThe Cressi Pro Star is a futuristic fin deriving from the Cressi-sub deep sea skin-diving models, which introduced the use of more reactive materials. The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. The side stringers extend for a good way along the blade, continuing in a protective seal around the whole edge of the foot. Two stabilizing flaps on the end of the blade, on the sole of the foot, guarantee excellent direction of the fin during kicking. The excellent, highly anatomic, computer-designed foot, guarantees optimum transmission of leg-fin thrust. The resulting cocktail is a formidable product that makes kicking easier and powerful at the same time. Pro Star is the most powerful full-foot fin in the Cressi range, except for models specifically designed for deep-sea skin diving and is an excellent choice for snorkeling, skin-diving and Scuba divers.
