Freediving Fins
You may not be a freediver but you should know that there is a difference between freediver fins and a regular dive fin. Freediver fins are simliar to a paddle fin but much longer. Free diver fins are engineered to conserve energy when freediving by using a kick that is stiff, slow, and wide. To reduce weight and increase power most freedive fins are made with a fill pocket which is very rigid. Since freediving fins main purpose is to conserve energy they are very efficient. If used correctly and you have the leg strength free diving fins can also deliver good speed. Because of the longer design and rigid foot pockets freediving fins are not for beginners.
